GMAT Volume through August 2005

GMAT volume through August 31 continues in the groove reported earlier: Insignificant decline (.93%) domestically. Healthy,  increase (7.6%)  overseas. The element to note in these figures is the trend. The domestic decline is steadily shrinking month-to-month and the overseas increase is increasing month-to-month, but not dramatically in either case.

GMAC did not reveal GMAT registration numbers.

Bottom line: There will be more applicants. There will be even more applicants if salaries continue to rise and graduating MBAs can brag about multiple offers.  If you are ready to pursue your MBA, don't wait until competition stiffens and acceptance rates drop.
